Have you actually got either wet that you know of?

Try putting your phone and charger in the airing cupboard over night where it is warm and should dry out.

If this does not work try a different charger to see whether it is the charger throwing the error up or the USB port.

I tried the bag of rice deal over the weekend it was good for likec2 days and the error came back today .

Any one else?

So does the phone charge at all? Or is it that the fast charge is not functioning?

As it seems the USB port is damaged there is only 3 options:
  • Get the port repaired,
  • Use a wireless charger, (not sure if they support fast charge)
  • Or replace your phone.

There is a know glitch where the "moisture" error remains stored in the USB cache.
Try clearing the the USB cache and data. Settings > apps >(show system apps from 3 dot menu) > USB settings app > storage > clear cache > clear data. Restart phone. This helps with many problems associated with the charging port.
