Help Moment issues with backlight and not sleeping?

• Every time I charge the Moment, the backlight never turns off unless I press the end button.
• When the Moment is not charging the backlight will turn off after 30 seconds according to my settings.
• When put the phone to sleep and the Moment fully charges, it "wakes up" and stays awake or until I turn it off using the end button.

What I've so far:

• robooting the phone, nothing changed
• used ATK, nothing changed
• let the battery run out 2 times, nothing changed.

This only happens when I am charging the phone.

Is there some solution to this problem?
What should I do.

see if stay awake is checked under applications > development, if so uncheck it. if that doesn't fix the issue try a reset to factory settings, under settings > sd card and phone storage > factory data reset.

thanks a lot

It worked for me. I should have been able to find it, but thats the last place where I would have checked it. They should move that area to the "sound and display" setting though. I think it would be more logical.
