Follow-up..
So I get a call from the Radio Shack clerk that something didn't go right with the refund, and could I come back in. Sure.
Then, after doing some stuff with the computer, he says I don't get anything back. What??
Here's my scenario:
On 2/6 I bought a Palm device. And my wife bought a Moment. After 28 days, I decided I wanted a Moment instead, so I exchanged my phone for a Moment. I paid $100 for it.
Then, after 10 days of owning the Moment, I noticed the price had dropped to $70 on the phone. Cool, I thought.. I haven't owned the phone for 30 days yet (I actually BOUGHT it on 3/8) so I should be able to get the better price.
But the Radio Shack clerk says even the price guarantee goes to the original contract purchase date. NOT the phone purchase date.
Is that right? He was also extremely rude and didn't explain anything. I wrote down the service number off the front of his computer terminal, and I plan on calling that later to give them a piece of my mind and see what's up.
UGH. Radio Shack DOES definitely suck.
