Monster in RED...

I've had my XE for 3 weeks now and although i keep on hearing that it is normal for the XE to get a little warm at the bottom I am a little concerned about it. It is getting quite hot... I have not read a lot about this problem on the net so I wonder what are the experiences of other users?
 
Mine is fine. It has felt warm to the touch a couple of times, but only after heavy internet use, and if you let the phone 'rest' for a bit (i.e. lay off the internet for 10 minutes or so) it returns to normal.
 
Yeah, in rest my phone is also cold or atleast normal but when i start using it you can notice that the device is heating up. And indeed with heavy internet usage he wil get warm very quick.
 
Yup.. i too have felt that several times... Whil holding in hand for long time.. or after using it and keepin in Jean.... A Warm feel in Thighs... :)
 
I had a Desire prior to this and it got warm too so not too bothered about the warmth.

neat trick was when I switched it on it offered to suck all the info off my other phone - it did that but pulled all the facebook contacts as real contacts then links those up with the contact and then offers to link these two to the facebook profile it finds in friends list - so it makes the contacts a lot more complicated but once all linked it is fine
