Apple is adopting an AT&T formula for calculating signal bars to accurately display signal strength in a given area -- which, of course, doesn't exactly solve the problem of poor reception, just how that poor reception is displayed.

The A-companies are ridiculous! That said VZW's going to ingest some of these issues when it gets iPhone in January.
Why do people actually believe this?
Steve jobs does not launch product without massive amounts of media attention and there is not a single shred of proof in the mythical Verizon iPhone.
They have been getting an iPhone for -years- and we have yet to see it.
Why repeat it as if it's a certainty?
Some guy speculates, as usual then it becomes a truth....
When the iPhone finally lands in Verizon, I think that will effectively eliminate AT&T has the 2nd biggest competitor. Everyone will move from AT&T to Verizon aside from those clueless people who think that AT&T is a better network. I can't see any reason of why people would stay with AT&T.
