Help more email problems

With the native email client -using a pop3 email account from my isp and it seems to often get stuck retrieving emails. A reboot fixes it. No task killer used but phone is rooted/JG8

Anyone else experienced this?

Sorted. I installed K9 email which does not have the issue. Much better email app- just wish the interface wasn't basic text

I have similar problem with native email on my Galaxy S. It is unreliable, as in sometimes will not load emails, and is mostly solved by re-booting. I actually get emails dated 01/01/1970!! I was around then but email sure wasn't. Unable to fix. Tried K9mail, but can only receive (unable to conn to smtp server). I am now running K9 for incoming and Email for outgoing, which makes forwarding real interesting.
Anyone else getting emails from "the other side"?
