More issues with link2sd

Hey guys, I've got another issue with link2sd, I've partitioned my sd card, reinstalled link2sd and right after selecting second partition of my sd card in link2sd it says to reboot my phone so I do that but the phone just keeps rebooting over and over and I can't get past the Xperia logo. When I remove the SD card the phone boots up normally and when I put it back in it just keeps rebooting.

I'm using Xperia L
Thanks for any answers

Sounds like you may have trashed your SD card. How did you partition it, phone app or on a PC? PC is the preferable way to do it, using a program like EaseUs Partition Manager.
Try reading the card on a PC. If it fails then you know it's bad. The next step is to try reformatting it and start all over, but if the PC doesn't recognize the card at all then you'll have to replace it.

Well that's kinda weird since all the partitioning said it was succesful and when i put it into my phone before selecting the second partition in link2sd the phone read the SD card just fine. But yeah my PC can't read it now so I guess link2sd ruined it somehow. I used mini tool partition wizard on PC as suggested by some guide which I found online.

Back when I used a HTC Desire (original model, very limited storage) we had a lot of people using either Link2SD or a root script to move apps to a partitioned card. And when troubleshooting one very common factor was that the partitioning had been done using MiniTool Partition Wizard. I think people recommend it because they have it on their PC, and it's probably fine with fat32 partitions, but with ext2/ext3/ext4 I frankly wouldn't trust it. Just seen too many cases where people used it and then found the apps2sd solution wouldn't work.

GParted may be less convenient, but it does a good job.

Yeah so minitool partition wizard ruined the SD card I guess, even tho I think it's still weird that the SD card stopped functioning right after I selected the second partition in link2sd.
Well anyway thanks for your help guys I'll make sure to use GParted next time.
