Root More SD card/partition questions

Alright I'm confused on this. I have been searching but no one else has asked so I guess

1. I'm the only one that dont get this?

2. I've done something differant/wrong?

So I have partitioned my SD card in half
I am using Link2SD.

It was my assumption that with the card partitioned that one partition was for your normal gallery/pics and the other partition was for all your Apps and downloaded/saved files. So far I have moved all Apps that I can and with all those and my pics it seems to be using one partiton only. The other partition is still (mostly) empty. I also assumed that when you go to your SD card that you would see 2 sub folders in there but I dont.

If I go to Link2SD>storage info it shows

Internal 33% free
SD Card 61% free
SD Card 2nd Part. 97% free

So I am done ASSuming and I feel its time to ask. I cant find the second partition to even see whats using up that 3% that leaves me the 97% free.

Thanks guys

The second partition is only used for apps that Link2SD has linked, and it will leave a small chunk on internal memory. The "main" partition is used for all other files, including pictures.

Hope this cleared things up.

Whatever is on the second partition is in /data/sdext on your phones file manager when using link2sd iirc.
Yep. But its empty. It has one folder called com.keramides.titaniumbackup which is empty and another called shared_prefs that has one small text file that basically has info that says "last write time" and "last launch time" and a few codes the file is only about ten lines of #'s and words. Hmmm weird
