More sections in Galaxy S forum please.

I have noticed this for a very long time. Facsinate, Captivate and Vibrant all have different sections for tips&tricks, troubleshooting, accessories, etc. Yet the Galaxy S forum only has a Root section. That wasn't a problem because of the small number of users, but lately there has been an increasing influx of new users, and the general section if getting overrun by troubleshooting threads.

So any chances that the Galaxy S can have its own sub-sections like its US brethren?

P.S. I don't think there's a need for a separate section for custom roms and kernels as some members have suggested. We are not XDA.

Sub forums are no longer being created. Now you have the option to set a prefix for each type of post. This is repalcing sub forums on new forums.

Not sure why the Galaxy S hasnt got them though. Do these prefixes work there?

Phases has put a hold on that until the Phandroid app starts supporting the prefix feature.

Yeah. I have no choice. Well, I guess I do - but the release of the new version of the app is completely out of my control. So my options are to implement it and render the app useless for all those forums, or wait.

I chose to wait because I didn't think (nor did Rob) it would take this long. Perhaps I should re-evaluate.

Rob gets back from his trip in the coming days so, I'll be sure to work this in along with the feature requests I have stacked up - during our next meeting.

It was only the only Samsung forum to be missing the sub-forums since its creation. Not sure why it was left out intentionally.

Ah, I have been wondering why there are no more updates for the app. Been a while since the last version was released. Just curious, where can I learn more about this upcoming prefix system?

Snapper, check the Phandroid testing thread in the Premiums and Staff forum, the beta with the prefix is out for testing
