More than 1 page text

[Android Question]

I pay for a service to get texts for fires, police, weather....(BUFF). If they send a long multi page text, I am only getting the first part of the text. If it is a text from a regular cell phone, I can get the whole text. I have SPRINT GALAXY 4s. PLEASE HELP!!

Ask them how they're sending multi-page texts. They may be sending the extra pages by something other than SMS. (If it's MMS, check your APN settings against the ones your carrier says you should have - they're carrier-specific.)

But it's like a lot of emergency comms these days - you may hear a police call go out to a particular street, followed by "MDT". That means "the rest of this is on your mobile data terminal", They don't want us unwashed to know everything they're doing. So this service may be sending the rest of the message by some other service. The only way you're going to know is to call them and ask them.
