Android Question

Guest
I have a Samsung s3 & tab 2 10". Have just purchased my 2 children a tab 3 each. Can I set up their tabs so the music on my Google Play account can be used across all devices, but I do not want the games they download being shared to my phone and tab?

Will I need to set them up with a new email account each or can it all run from the one account?

Hope this makes sense and someone will be able to point me in the right direction. Any advice will be useful
Thanks

Hi

Yes you can set them all up with the same account and control what syncs to each phone with

menu
settings
account select google
then select the account
tick/untick what you want synced to each phone.

BUT

You can use one Google play account on up to 5 (I think) devices, but only play music on one at a time - makes sense as they are using one account.

You may be better to set up the kids with their own accounts. Then add your account to their phone and enable only "sync google play music" on their phones.

Once you realise you can run multiple accounts on each phone and the same account on more than one there are lots of ways to do what you want :)

If you want to lock your kids out of certain features/apps you could install AppLock by Domobile (playstore free app) which I find to be pretty good. There are several alternatives.
