Help Most obvious or most exciting thing

First of all, this is my first post.

So I may be the first to realize this... but there are quick launch shortcuts to open apps! These shortcuts are simply the search button plus any letter a-z. This can help me cut back a few icons. This can be found under settings, applications, quick launch

Hopefully there is at least one other person who didn't see this or who knows maybe you all knew and I look like a n00b.

I think I remembered seeing something about it in settings, but I had forgotten it until now.
