Most pointless App

I only got my droid phone last night but it already made me laugh today.
on the home page by default is a Weather widget.
What a totally useless thing. Today it was telling me that it was snowing in Leeds. I sort of knew this as I was working outside at the time.

I am sure in the fullness of time I will find even more pointless stuff.
 
Personally I like being able to see the current temp, as well as the hi and low for the day right on my home screen.
 
I know a few people who never fart, my theory is they're going to explode somewhere in their 50's. These "fart" apps allow them to fit in with the rest of society.

Screw those people! I use FartDroid occasionally so I have my DROID to blame when I'm the one ripping them. ;)
 
Found a new entry in the market that tops them all. Check out: Stool Scanner. How did we ever live without that???
 
I found one named "Cricket" and it does nothing but make chirpping sounds like a cricket. Of course I installed it :D.

even girls fart. and if she says she doesn't, then she is a liar. the fart app rocks. I am a mom of three. nothing keeps my six year old son and three year old daughter better entertained.:D

I don't have my Inc. yet, but I've been thinking the same thing - the Sense weather gizmos look like amazing eye candy, but how out of touch with reality are you if you need your phone to tell you the current conditions all the time?! Don't people have access to windows anymore? Don't get me wrong, getting current and forecast wx. info is one of the primary things I'll be using the incredible for, when I'm out in the field and need to do some flight planning, but as for the current wx. where I am - I'll use my senses...

The "is it Christmas?" app = lols, that's ridiculous...
 
i agree that there are pointless apps that I, and no one, will ever have a use for, but I don't think the weather is one of them. The weather app is one of my top used apps in fact. My room mate is a pro golfer...he can't go a day without the weather app!
