Root Most Updated Android ROM to Support HDMI?

I recently upgraded to a new phone and got a great tablet that supports miracast. Unfortunately the quality of the audio via miracast from my tablet is awful BUT the HDMI coming out of the Triumph had always been great. I'm trying to use the MT just to play the Showtime, HBO, TCM and DirecTV apps but the stock version of android doesn't allow me to download or install those apps. My phone is rooted and of course I have never tried installing a ROM but now I have another phone anyway and I'm sure I can back up the stock ROM, so why not give it a go? What's the highest android build I can flash that will support HDMI on the Triumph? Any help would be appreciated. :-)

D'oh! Well, it kind of figures for a phone that we all originally thought was a superhero - but turned out to be very mortal indeed due to lack of support from the manufacturer & VMU

:(
sorry to tell you thi, but stock is the only version that still has HDMI.

Hi: I believe the Sharp Roms for the Triumph has working HDMI.

Use The latest Sharp Rom 12/2012....works great and HDMI I believe works...

Read all info first and download all the files since this phones support is just about over and some of the links are no longer working... Unfortunately only the froyo 2.2 roms have working HDMI for the Triumph... The Sharp Rom is 2.2 based and is a phone with the same hardware as the Triumph. I haven't used it in a while since 2.2 Froyo is outdated, but it runs rings around the stock rom which was the worst... The developers really got this phone rockin' after it was out a few months....It's 2.5 years+ old as of this post...

After you install clockwork mod recovery (I recommend a zip version as it's easy)...back up your stock rom before doing anything else ( create a nandroid backup is the term). Good luck, follow instructions and you should be good.

VM-Ramp is a good Rom, great battery life, and gps works flawlessly. The next best rom imo would be the sharp rom. You cannot go wrong with those two roms.
