motherboard help testing please

Alright guys and gals.

Just a quick one got the chance of a second hand socket 1155 with no pro and no fan or heat sink thing is he bought it this way I was wondering is there a way to test it with out a CPU? ? Also comes with 4 gig ddr3 ram

In short you can't.

You can pay someone to do it for you, but the cost of doing this will be more than the value of a working mobo, so it's not very practical to do that. Your only real hope is to find a geek friend who has the know-how and the equipment to do the work for you, in a way that's mutually beneficial.

You can't test it without The CPU. it's basically the brain of the computer. Without a CPU the computer won't even reach the post screen.
