Root motion w/cm11...tether possible or no?

I have an old lg motion not currently activated on metro.

Its running cm11 courtesy of a poster her called.cyberdev I believe.

Id like to.know if anyone has that rom and is able to tether with the native settings or otherwise (3rd party app etc)

Im strongly considering (if tether indeed works) activating it and using it as a portable hotspot for other devices (no internet around here)

Well in a shocking twist I was able to tether with the morion on stock. Tom. Never. Tried. With cm 11.

I'm.not. Quite sure.how I.did it.

I think by entering. My idea on a site I.was. Able to.get a msl code (I.think that's what it's called) entered some menu and unchecked network lock.mode and all.of.the sudden. Tether. Works.

I didn't use it.for.long cuz I wanna figure. Out how to hide it from metro
 
So, I broke out my Motion, charged it up, and put that on. It's not KitKat. It's 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. Oh well. Still seems nice though. I don't have service on my Motion any more, but Wi-Fi works well and it seems smooth. I didn't have to flash the version C modem though, like he said to do. It booted up and I was able to get Wi-Fi connected properly.
