Motion will not charge

I have an LG motion that i have only had for a few months. A couple weeks ago it started losing charge really fast. And today it died and when i plugged it into the charger the charging light doesn't come on and it will not turn on at all. My carrier is Metro PCS and the customer service number is not helpful at all. Please help my phone is my lifeline!! Thank you in advance.

Do they have brick and mortar stores? See if someone will swap a known-good battery into your phone (maybe from theirs). The problem is either a bad battery, a bad charger, a bad microUSB port in the phone or a bad motherboard. The first 2 are the easiest to analyze, and if one of them is bad (battery or charger), the cheapest to fix. (Actually fixing a bent microUSB port is free if you're really careful.)
