Help Moto 360 System Update thread

I forgot to charge my watch lastnight and I have no battery left to see if I have it yet. My phone does show that I have the Android Wear 5 update waiting for me. I went in to look and it warns you that you need your watch connected and it will reboot.

I will charge tonight when I get home and see if I have the Motorola one as well :)
 
Just finished downloading the Wear update - the interface on the phone is different, but I do not see any changes on the 360. I am guessing we have to wait for the Moto Connect update
 
Ok so this is odd. I have not gotten the 5.0 update for my 360 but did update facer (twice actually got another update overnight) and....I have a facer face running just fine on the 360.
I was under the impression that was not possible.
 
It was. Read the dev's response to the clueless people giving him one star in the comments. Google asked him to make Facer incompatible with pre-5.0 and everyone went nuts. Google told him he could restore access.
 
Well maybe it's going out based on build date? I don't know I got one of the second gen all stainless models, I may be waiting a while if that's the case. I also do not have the 5.0.1 update for my N6 (but I am on ATT so no shock there).

I'm on AT&T too but I got the 5.01 update right away. And, I think you had your N6 a week before I got mine. Other than saying I got it, I can't really tell much of a difference, though.

Honestly I am a little confused as to why I do not yet have the 5.0.1 update. I have heard ATT rolled it out and I got nadda. Also still nothing on my 360. :( Very frustrating.
 
I plan on buying the Moto 360 tomorrow. It's a Christmas gift to myself, but I want it ready to go on Christmas. Will it come out of the box with 5.0.0 and then update itself to 5.0.1 once I charge and turn it on or what? Does the phone need to be paired with my Turbo before it will update?
