Moto 360 Version 2 includes "sports" and "women" options

Side by side:

1) That flat tire. I was really hoping they'd correct that.

2) Interesting choice in moving the crown. Looks more like the placement on the Huawei Watch - which I'm completely okay with.

3) Extended lugs for the band.

That flat tire. Ugh. Like you, I was hoping it was going away. Looks like I'll stick with my current 360 or maybe go to something that is a full face. Ugh.

Yeah, the flat tire is the first thing I noticed (particularly with the white display). I had to look a second time before I even noticed the crown placement.

Could just be a composite of a current moto360 screen over the new body. I do like the re-positioned crown, but i'm ambivalent about the lugs.

Extended lugs might improve compatibility with regular watch straps (disclosure: I don't know whether you can fit regular straps to the current 360, so ignore this if it can).

But I thought that 5 minutes perusal of the web would tell Moto that the flat tyre was the most obvious thing to fix. Come on guys, you must know you can't rest on your laurels in this game.

On the other hand, it looks like they've addressed one thing: not all of us (even us males) have large wrists, and it seems the new 360 is coming in 2 sizes

I'm a slim dude and thats why I like the black stainless steel band. I removed some links and the fit is comfortable.

So it looks to me like "women's" is the same as the smaller "men's" watch except with different colours and a narrower strap (which looks disproportionately narrow to me, but maybe that's because I'm male ).

But kudos to them for offering different size and style options. The smaller "male" 360 is the closest I've come so far to buying a smart watch (probably not going to be close enough - I've a number of discretionary purchases above that on my wish list - but moving in the right direction).

I didn't think I'd be excited for a 360 update because I love mine so much, but this is pretty interesting. Higher rez... faster processor and bigger battery. I think I'm going to be getting one. I should probably put this one on eBay now because the price will drop pretty quickly here.

Diameter of the watch face. The 46 is another $50. So with a leather band it'll be $350.

cool. its hard to tell from the motobuild page thingy. looking at the all black stainless. was building a gold and black and chrome version but it looks a bit too blingy for me so ill just keep it simple.

i do like the always on mode and the new bezel design...

My current one is all black. I was thinking about the silver with a black leather band. I'm surprised at how much I like that leather. I've always been a metal band guy.
