Help MOTO Droid-X SD Card File Structure?

Can anyone explain the file structure? How many sub-folders can be created below the /sdcard folder?

I want to organize my files in sub folders for easier access thru Astro explorer. sub folders for specific types of pictures, sub folders for various genre of music, sub folders for various artists, etc.

There is no guidance from Moto on the file structure.

I know you can go at least 4 deep

Media
..Music
....Artist
......Album1
......Album2

You should be able to do the same for photos
Camera pics are always stored in dcim/Camera folder

I've got all my media under the Media folder
Media
..alarms
..wallpaper
..movie clips
..movies
..music
..notifications
..ringtones

Android will use these locations to populate the alarm, ringtone, notification lists. Everything else shows up in the Gallery or the Music Player of your choice.
