Help moto g 1st gen lollipop cant make/recieve calls

hi all,

im in charge of our company mobile phones and i have bought a few moto g 1st gen and updated them to lollipop but since i have updated them i am getting quite alot of users complaining they cant make/recieve calls, i have tried the below remedies but still getting issues -

turn the device off/on

while device on take out sim card and re-insert

turn on/off flight mode

change the mobile network from 02 etc and back again to vodafone or automatic

i have tried all of these and they seem to work briefly but then it happens again and im back in square one

has anyone else experienced this issue

Usually when problems like this happen after a firmware update the best thing you can do is a factory reset.
If that's going to be a hassle I'd maybe take it up with o2 first
