Thanks. I find the camera is an improvement over the 1st gen model, but still not as good as it should be due to the enforced image compression.

You can disable this to a degree by installing the tweaked Camera+ app and navigating to the de-noise options - these can be found by clicking on the ladybird icon in the bottom right corner of the screen when you're in the settings mode.
