For some bizarre reason the stock camera app on my Moto G is stuck in video mode.
- force stopping the app makes no difference
- turning the app on and off makes no difference.
- deleting the cache makes no difference
- deleting the data makes no difference
- disabling and then enabling the app makes no difference
- and obviously turning the phone on and off makes no difference.
- long pushes on the video icon do nothing but turn it on
- dragging the options across from the left gives me no answer either - if I select Camera there it still leaves the video icon on the screen
I have no other camera apps installed, nor any other applications running. I am running 5.1 if that is any help, and the phone is not rooted. I was actually taking a photo at the time (which did the camera did actually take) when this happened.
This is driving me crazy and I really do not want to re-set the whole phone; anyone with any suggestions will be revered for ever.
Thanks in advance for any help !
