My wife and I just got two brand new Motorola Moto G XT1032 falcon_aio phones. They have a few problems that we thought would get fixed but... no such luck.
Can anyone shed some light on the overall buggy nature of these phones specifically with context. That is, for example, we can only use our phones for about five hours before they are no longer able to take or make calls. If we try, the phone just says "Dialing" and nothing ever happens. If we go to Application Manager and Force Stop the phone and then open the phone app when it is stuck dialing, then it just gets stuck in a blank window labeled Phone. If we keep them on for a little longer than that, then Messaging stops sending and receiving messages. If we leave them on for another few hours, then push notifications stop coming in.
And every once in a while, they lose their settings... and they always both do it at exactly the same time. We can be sitting next to each other and whatever we are doing it just gets lost and we are both on our respective home screens.
We currently have a schedule. We reboot our phones when we wake up, at lunch, and before bed.
My wife's phone has had a weird problem since the day it came out of the box: she randomly and sporadically cannot scroll in any direction in any window UNLESS she drags her finger VERY slowly. We would return it but this is already a replacement for another Moto G... Oh and the longer the phones are on, the longer the delay for Google Now services. That is, if I leave my phone on for two days and then try to slide my finger up from home to prompt GoogleNow, nothing happens. And the phones ARE NOT SLOW, don't be confused. When I slide an "Assistance Request" to open Google Now when the delay is high, I can open my apps list and run even the most intensive programs. It is ALWAYS exactly a 5 second divisible length of time before Google Now pops up but it maxes out at exactly 30 seconds.
Wow until I wrote this I had no idea how many problems these phones have.
Are there any updates coming down the pipe?
Is Motorola or anyone aware of these problems?
