"moto g stylus 5g" how to create a home screen shortcut to a txt file on the phone's sd card?
I did this once before but I can't remember how I did it.

Don't have your phone, but go to your file manager and long press the file you want to add to the home screen. A pop up menu should come up with options to add to the home screen. It might be under the 3 dots, if there is one.
