Help Moto G - Widgets?

I just got the new Moto G (2014). On pressing the Apps button there is no tab for widgets. Widgets are listed along with apps but dragging them to a screen just places the shortcut there, it doesn't install the widget.

I have checked the Enable Widgets option in settings.

What am I missing?

Found them. In case anyone else gets similarly confused, hold your finger on an empty space on a screen. Options for Wallpapers or Widgets are presented.

You can also download KK Loader and allows to add Android widgets or KK Loader widgets
