MotoCast question

Ok , I think I am finally turning over from the Gnex over to the Razr.

Seems like it just suits me more.

I do have a question about Motocast. Sorry if this has been answered already, I couldn't really find an answer to it.

Anyways, if I am connecting my phone through my laptop at home on Motocast, can I still stream the music from the phone if I was to say, in my car? at work? Or will I still have to download it? If I don't have to download any media, would that still take up some storage on my SD card?

Hopefully this all makes sense and I am all kinda new to it. Sorry!! Thanks for the help though!!

Should work fine as long as connected to network (3g,4g,WiFi) and your pc is on.
Motocast is really drawing me to razr.
Watching latest video review it looks tightly integrated.

No. With DLNA you have to be on the same network.

With Motocast, you can be anywhere. You can even download specific songs, movies before you board a flight or go on a road trip. Good for kids in the car too - you don't fill up the phone hard drive and then run out of selection.
