Root Motohotspot connection issue

I am a paid person of the tether plan and rooted. I am having issue where I can connect but I don't have internet. Computer says connect just no internet. Any ideas? Don't want to call Verizon and them see rooted phone. Stock rooted.

Having never used Moto's app I don't know the answer to your question. But I've used this one with success, if you're willing to use a different app.

Besides the wireless tether app that mhotovec pointed out, go to the market and download a wifi tether app called FoxFi cuz that will work also for a tether app cuz I use it.

I have working solution. But I like to keep phone clean and stock one should work. Just does not seem too.
