Motorola Assist app

Is anyone finding success with the "Meeting" part of the app? I am wondering if the app is smart enough to recognize the event "work" or "sub" as a meeting entered into my Google calendar, and with correct settings made within the app, silence my phone. Also, does the stock calendar app need to be used.

I haven't used this feature of Assist, but I'm pretty sure it would only work with either the stock app or an app that uses the stock Calendar Storage. Also, are you're events marked as "busy"?

I use Google Calendar and A Calendar Plus, both of which sync with the stock calendar. There must be an option with the stock calendar to mark events as busy? I did some experimenting with Assist this morning. So far, so good.

I use Cal by Any.do as my calendar (which syncs with Google calendar), and I have entries called "Work" for every day that I work, including start and stop times, and the "Meeting" status triggers every day, at the proper time, for days I have this entry.
