Motorola Assist

Anyone have trouble with Motorola Assist recognizing that you're driving? I had it work once, right away, yesterday. When I got where I was going, I hit the "I'm not driving" in the notification bar and it hasn't worked since.

I tried clearing the data for the Motorola Assist app and setting up again, but that didn't seem to help. I did notice a few other Motorola Assist-related apps that I didn't touch yet, maybe I'll try clearing data on all of them next.

I was looking forward to having it read texts from my wife with expletives in them.

I think I fixed my own problem. I tried clearing data on all the Motorola Assist apps and that didn't help. Then I had the thought to turn GPS off then back on, and that seemed to do the trick.

So if anybody leaves GPS on all the time and notices that Assist stops noticing when you're driving, that seems to be the trick. GPS off, GPS on, then all is well.
