Motorola Atrix App issues

I seen a thread regarding a Motorola Backflip regarding "unkown source" applications. I just wanted to download the Appstore app through Amazon. The entire message reads: The application comes from an unkown source, and for your security only applications from trusted sources can be installed. How do I go about getting this going? Atrix "4G" is great BTW

You have to root your atrix and enable downloading of non-market apps. AT&T does not allow downloading/install of non-market apps

this is due to AT&T restriction on the android market.
They block certain apps from installing. The Amazon app store being one of them.
You can root your phone and sideload the app.
If a mod can move this thread to the atrix section, you will probably get more answers.
(I'm an atrix owner as well, and this is just another reason to hate AT&T)

If you don't want to root you can use the sideload wonder machine.
