Root Motorola Driver download

Hi all,
I want to root my Razr m, but need to know where to get the drivers and how to install them. I have downloaded the root code, and it says to download and install drivers. Please help! I have rooted my old lg b4, but it was a one step click app. Also where do I install drivers? To computer or phone?

Hello jimecv. Click the "drivers" menu item on the left of this page:

Software and Drivers - Motorola Mobility, Inc. USA

and follow the prompts.

Installation on Windows is just a matter of clicking the file (instructions are at that site ).

Ok, I actually already have the device manager so i would believe that the drivers are already installed, I will let you know what happens! Thanks

So I downloaded the package from everything root and extracted all. The process ran fine. But when I use a root checker it sayss no SU found and that I dont have root, Tried it 3 times. I have version 4.1.2. Anyone have any Ideas?

Yes!!! The droid razr forum has the super easy root tool for you guys that have version 4.1.2!!! It is Kick-ass. If you click on "download from origional thread" link it takes you to Droidrzr.com. Sign up and download it. All you need to do is run the run.bat and that is it. No pressing volume and power buttons, nothing! Took about 30 seconds and I have root.
