Motorola Droid car mount mod

Here's mine! I ended up cutting it a little larger than it actually needed to be. I aimed to make it as large as the silver ring around the lens, but seems it could have been a little smaller.

I have a Panavise (i.e., similar to Pro.Clip) dash mount system on my dash. I have 2 of these Droid holders as I have another dual t-notch system in my truck so they hold my Droid in my vehicles and attach to my dash mount.

So, I see the value of the speaker mod so you can hear better.. but what it the point of the camera hole mod? You can pop the phone out of the holder in a second and then use it as a camera, so who uses the camera while in the holder?
