Motorola Droid Offical 2.1 Downgrade to 2.0.1

Hello I just updated to the offical ota 2.1 update for the droid. Yes I like it and there's no problems, but I wanna downgrade back to the offical 2.0.1 so that I can root my phone and load the htc sense from the desire. Does anyone know if this is possiable?

Yes you can. I haven't done it yet but plan to soon.

You don't need to downgrade to 2.0.1 anymore to get root. If you follow this thread below you can flash SPRecovery and have stock 2.1 with the ability to load a rooted ROM. I did this yesterday with great success.
