Help Motorola Input: Disabled = Delete?

After I updated my Razr MAxx to ICS, There was always a notification when I texted labeled "Select Input Method". It got really annoying to me so I looked around to remove it. I found a way that someone suggested and without doing much other research, i tried it. They said to Disable the app "Motorola Input". I did so and it did stop the Notification from popping up...But it also turned off my default texting keyboard.

So i go back into my All Apps and look for the "Motorola Input" to Enable again....But it was gone! I do have Swype still so I can text and such, but I'm so used to the default one that I want it back! I talked to a Motorola rep and they suggested I do a factory restart, but I don't wanna reinstall all my apps etc. Is this the only way?

Disabled apps should be listed at the bottom of your Apps list in Settings.

Go to Settings>Apps>All and scroll to the very bottom. It should be there with the word "Disabled" next to it. Open it and re-enable it. Proof that Moto folks don't know their own products. :banghead:

Oddly enough, I disabled mine and use SwiftKey, but I still get that stupid little keyboard pop up in my notification bar. I just ignore it, but still, no idea why it's there.
 
Thank you for that. The rep told me to clear my cashe in "Text Messaging" app and it made the Noti reappear. Not sure how to get rid of it either.
