Yes Motorola announced somewhere that all moto devices will get the update. But we don't know when.

Of course, Motorola can only speak to their branded devices. The Boost/AT&T/Verizon of the world control their own devices and decide whether to accept and distribute the update.

Mine updated to 5.0.2 Friday! I have a sim only model so may explain the why others to follow?

Been offered lollipop 5.0 in the last few days here in Britain but after 3 failed attempts to install i'll leave it awhile until it has been debugged some.
