Apps Mountain of errors on creation of project :/

Hi all

I'm pretty new to Android development (but not to software development) and I have been working my way through the Big Nerd Ranch book on Android app development. I'm halfway through and now whenever I create a new project Eclipse go crazy for errors.... That's before I've even started to type my code.
Even projects that I have completed and installed on my phone (that had no errors) are now showing errors to do with the ActionBarActivity. I know that to use the ActionBar I need to create the project with the min requirements of API 11 which the projects are. Also I have changed no preferences in Eclipse other than making it so the line numbers are visible.
Has there been a massive update that has made this happen or do I need to do something?

You should check if the appcombat_v7 project is correctly linked as a library (right-click project and choose properties, then head to the Android tab).

Thanks dude that sorted this out.... Does this sort of thing happen often? I didn't do a thing and this happened on me.

I'm glad I could help.
That is because project librarys dont get added automatically afaik. After importing existing code that is the first thing I check.
