Help Mounting media card

Looking for suggestions...

I have a Mac and when I plug my phone into the USB it connects in that the phone shows it is connected and charging however the SD media card does not mount so I can not transfer files.

If I unplug I can go into settings > SD Card & phone settings and it shows the card, available space, etc.

I can not see it from my Mac though.

Any suggestions?

Today, I unmounted my sd card and then ejected from windows...and my sd card got corrupt, so i had to reformat it...so proper way is to first eject and then unmount it

@Madmax 56 I am having the same problem, and since I am new to both MAC OS, and Android I was wondering if you could give me the step by step of what you did?

Thanks

1) connect the usb cable to the phone and your Mac
2) you will see a USB plug in the notification bar on the top of your phone
3) drag down the notification bar and there should be an entry saying USB connected
4)tap it and open, tap the Mount button

PHONE CARD should now be on your desk top.

You can open it with Finder and move files to it, delete files, etc like any other directory on your Mac

Cheers
