Move apps to SD card

I can't move my apps to external drive but phone seems to be combining both drives on its own. Is there any way I can move apps manually...I don't get the option to change storage drives like I should and I seem to have 16 total GB storage instead of 24 like i should. Any suggestions? Thanks

Sounds like you have adoptable storage enabled,some apps can't be moved such as most system apps but most user apps<downloaded by you> can.As for storage, I don't think the system data is counted which makes up about 6GB of storage space.
