Move apps to SD problem

Android nut new to forum, I have always had Sony Xperia phones but just got my first huawei ascend g510 the phone is great except hardly any of my apps can move to SD card and I know the apps have that function is they all moved on my other phones, is the move to SD funtion restricted by different phones, I always thought the app either had move to SD feature or not?

What Android versions are your current and previous phones? The ability to move apps to the external SD was removed beginning with Android 4.0, the only way to get it back is to root the phone and use an app like Link2SD.

both have jelly bean, not to the external SD, but with my previous xperia E, I could move apps to internal SD part of the phone
