I just took advantage of the Google offer to Download Lord of the Rings. Now it takes up almost 3 GB on the Tab 4. Is there a way to move it to the SD card? I looked using ES File Explores & cannot find it anywhere.

Download X-plore file manager. There is a feature to move files to extsd via a folder called "sandbox"" but if u delete the app. it will erase your files. Simply move the files manually yourself. The folder is on your ext sd/android/data. Sorry for not giving exact instructions but its pretty easy to figure out. Without rooting this is pretty much the easiest solution. ive done it myself so it works.
If you go to Settings in the Google Play Movies apps, go to Storage - set the storage for downloads. When the choose download storage box pops up, click on SD card. That will download all movies to the external SD card. If you want any previously downloaded movies to end up in the external SD card, you'll have to clear out the data and cache for Play movies, log the app back in, reset all the settings, and then download the movies again through the app. No rooting or external apps required to do this.
