when someone (a Mod) moves your post it normally means you put it in the wrong section (or there are better sections) of the website.
For instance if I put a post about my favourite make of clothing in here Android Lounge - Android Forums it would obviously be the wrong place as that's for discussion about Android, a Mod would put it here The Lounge - Android Forums instead because that's for talking about whatever we want and is a better place.
Sometimes it's quite hard to get the right place in the forum or we just don't know a section exists, but you've done nothing wrong really, just try to look a little bit more carefully next time ;) some people get a bit shirty when they see a post in the wrong place...
If it was deleted... then you probably did do something wrong and maybe it wasn't in the forum rules featured here http://androidforums.com/introductions/704-site-rules-guidelines.html normally a Mod tells you why they've done things.
As to the question, I didn't really understand it, do you mean you can't get your phone to update to 2.2 because of lack of 3G signal? it's rather a large file and it's probably best to use WiFi

A guide moved your thread because it does not pertain to update news but rather a support question, which typically can be better aided in that particular device forum. Just go to where your thread was moved to (in this case, the Galaxy S forum) to continue your questions/discussion about the issue at hand.
