Help Movies used to download on 2.1, but now they just play on 2.2

I use a website to watch movies on my phone. When I was running 2.1, I would select the movie and it would automatically download to My Files folder.

Now that I am running 2.2, the movies no longer download and just play right away.

I preferred the download method because I could save them to watch any time.

Other than downgrading back to 2.1, is there any way to go back to the download method?
