I've seen Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban twenty times so far this year.

Why just that one?

Because I'm showing it to 20 classes during "English movie time" at the end of lessons. Most of the students have read the Harry Potter books in Chinese, but haven't seen the movies in English.

I just remembered a kind of campy one that is a guilty pleasure of mine: Escape from New York. The running gag line in the movie is "Snake Plisken? Yea, I heard of you. I heard you were dead". This, of course, will make no sense to you unless you are familiar with the movie

"John Wick" is the newest movie I'd watch again and again. Definitely has that "The Mechanic" mood if adjusted for generational shift.

Watched the new remake of 'Death Wish' and liked it a lot! I'll be sure to give that a couple 9f rewatches when it's released on BD/DVD. For anyone who wonders if it's better than the original.. no, it's not but it's a friggin great action spiced movie. 😊
