Moving Apps from One card to another

Hi All,
I just ordered a Sony Ericsson Neo V in Flipkart. The phone should arrive in couple of days. They give me 8 Gb transcend card free along with the bundled 2 GB card. i was actually planning to buy a 16 GB card but since now, i am getting this 8 GB, i dropped the thought.

Here is my doubt. If i start using this 8 GB card and i use my internal storage for apps, then i run out of space and start using the card for Apps. After a period of time, if think that i should upgrade my memory to 16 GB, will it be a hectic work to transfer the apps between cards.

Do you recommend me using the 16 GB from the start or can i use 8 GB until i run out of space then move to 16 or 32 GB. I am so confused regarding this., Please help.

Out of topic: DO you guys know which variant of Neo V looks better - White or Blue? I've ordered white but I still have the choice of changing the color.

In android OS... there are two folders in memory card
1. .android_secure - This is a hidden folder and can only be seen in mass storage mode. this contains all the data of the applications stored on memory card.
2. Android - this is not the hidden folder and contains few data about the applications installed on phone.

Whenever u want to transfer data from one memory card to other just connect ur phone in mass storage mode and copy these 2 folders in the computer. Now disconnect the phone, put new memory card in the phone and connect the phone again in mass storage mode and copy these 2 folders in new memory card. It is necessary that the new card is connected through the phone and not from some card reader. All other stuff can be simply copied in new card. After u do this ur all applications whether they were in phone or memory card will work fine and ur phone is now equipped with a new memory card. I have done this on my Sony Ericsson Neo V and its working brilliantly.

well id say you get the 16gb or directly 32gb which would suit you best. instead of getting 2-3 diff SD cards. Transferring the apps to a new card is not an issue as mohitgoyal has stated.. an as for the color of the phone i actually like Blue.. White tends to become kinda dirty whereas the dark blue one is sleek and decent.
