Moving apps from one SD card to another

What is the best way to transfer downloaded Android apps from one sd card to another?

have you tried something like dd? i have no idea how that works on windows (i'm a linux fan ) i wonder whether that'd work, it should theoretically. if it works it's probably the easiest way to do it otherwise i can't think of anything smart

ok for instance when you install contract killer, you have the apk plus the data folder, folder normally called contract killer or the name of whatever app it is, just copy the apk plus the data folder to your new sd card,

if you then put card into new device and reinstall the apk you should have the same settings as before.
