Help Moving apps to sdcard1??

I seem to be doing something wrong.
I have my G2 apps set to sdcard, but they are on the internal sdcard not the external card with all the storage space available.
How do I move the apps to the external sdcard?
I am out of space on internal card with maps, etc.

Go to 'Settings'->'Apps'->'On SD' card here you will see all the apps you have downloaded. All should have a tick mark, if It does not have it then tap on it & on the next screen tap on the button ‘Move to sd card’. Do it for all apps which are not have a tick mark to it.

That is what I did but it just moved them to the internal sdcard not the 32g card installed
File explorer sees storage 8gb split 2.6/5.5 gb and sdcard1 29.4gb
Motog2 sees the 5.5gb as sdcard and moves apps there instead of the 32gb sdcard.
