Help Moving contacts from disabled exchange account

I recently changed jobs. At my old job I had gone from a Blackberry to an android phone and everything was syncing via OWA. I have now changed jobs and have found that about 90% of my contacts are tied to that OWA account so I can't delete it from my phone without losing all my contacts. Is there a way to move them from the disabled OWA account to Gmail?

I'm about to upgrade phones in a few days and I would like a way to transfer them over.

Update: Figured it out.
Exported everything to a VCF and deleted the exchange account. Then imported the VCF again. Now just have to remove duplicates.
