Moving contacts from phone to SIM

Can anyone assist please, need to backup before ROM update.

Just changed SIM and had put all contacts onto phone before replacement.

Looked everywhere but not most tech literate.

might be easier to back up to google, then it will sync automatically after the update.

Alternatively use HTC Sync to backup to / restore from your PC. That's what i used when i updated and it worked fine.

Thanks for the reply. I am going to backup to Google as mentioned.

I actually ended up using an app. contacts2sim which worked well.
