Help Moving my End Key back

Love my one X, one small problem - on calls my end key hs moved to the right side of my sreen, and is partially cut off. Can't figure out how to move it back, and unfortunately all searches have been turning up is reviews. I'd post an image, but can't obviously.

What I'm looking at is once a call is connected/dialing, outgoing or incoming, the red end key normally on the bottom has migrated to the right side of the screen. In addition, the expansion for the digit keypad also expands from an arrow below it intead of being in its default position.

I have not rooted it nor modified very many settings, beyond the basics and app downloads. How can I put my end key back where it belongs without doing a factory reset? Thanks in advance for the advice guys.

I can't think of anything that would cause that, is there anything in the Accessibility menu in settings checked?

You should be able to post a pic now btw, I'd be interested to see exactly what you mean.

Hold the power button down and press the home key, it saves the pic to a folder called Screenshots on your SD Card.

Every pic host site I use shows as a red x when I insert the link. Rah. I did factory reset the phone, which (I thought) fixed it, but it seems to happen randomly anyway.

Addendum: couldn't get a shot of it but this can also happen when someone calls me and my phone is unlocked, making the answer button not show onscreen at all, with end showing as it does in the above link forcing me to reject the call then call the person back.

Wow, definitely never seen anything like that before. What happens if you turn the phone to make it Landscape when it's like that?

Landscaping does nothing in call mode, whether the screen is like.this or not.

That's the route I ended up going; at least I can console myself with the knowledge that I stumped you
